Smart Vehicle with Bidirectional Technology

In response to the increasing demand for eco-friendly energy sources in the transport industry, this project presents the development of a solar charged electric vehicle (EV) equipped with a bidirectional charging system. This system not only charges the vehicle battery but also allows the vehicle's battery to serve as a power source for other devices. Key components include a specially developed inverter and a DC-to-DC converter that regulate power distribution inside the EV. These components effectively interface DC electricity stored in the battery to external AC use or vice versa, ensuring compatibility with various devices and power grids.

Solar Workstation Cum Solar Blinds

Ladakh, at an average altitude of 11,000 feet, is one of the remotest areas of India, receiving over 300 sunny days a year. Due to remoteness and the arduous terrain, many areas are still not connected to central grids and rely on small solar stations or diesel generators. The solar workstation powered by vertical solar blinds aims to provide power and active shading during peak summers when UV radiation is high, and during winter, when hydroelectricity is insufficient due to river freezing. This workstation features solar blinds for DC power generation, an MPPT charge controller to maximize power extraction, and a solar inverter to convert DC to AC for conventional appliance usage. The project combines photovoltaic energy production with active shading for an economic benefit, utilizing solar blinds that generate electrical power per square meter.

All-in-One Portable Power Station

This project involves the design and implementation of a solarpowered portable power station with multiple functionalities, including a Bluetooth speaker, mobile charger, LED light, and an external laptop charger. The station serves as a portable generator, harnessing solar energy to provide a sustainable solution for power, entertainment, and lighting needs in remote or off-grid areas. The journal outlines the system's architecture, circuit diagram, and key components, emphasizing its practical integration and functionality for outdoor and emergency scenarios.
